Teen who killed family

I was channel surfing today when I came upon this story on court tv about a teen, Cody Posey, who killed three people(father, stepmother, and sister)in New Mexico. I was in shock to hear so many people trying to justify why he committed such heinous crimes against his family. There are reports of him being abused physically and mentally abused by his parents, but if that is so why did he kill his sister too? I will tell you why; to leave no witnesses. Thats what murderers do.

I listened to Nancy Grace try to compare this case to the Lionel Tate case, but there is no comparision between the two except for them murdering innocent people. I am in no way excusing what Lionel Tate did, but these are two different cases that occurred in two different states with each state having their own set of rules for handling such cases. For those not familiar with the Lionel Tate case; he is the teen from Florida who was convicted and sentenced to life for killing his playmate Tiffany Eunick while allegedly performing wrestling moves on her. The sentence was later overturned. The young man accused of killing his family planned it out to the last detail. Cody Posey even tried to cover his own tracks, so what does that tell you? The defense had witnesses testify that they saw Cody being abused, but no one reported it to social services or even to the police........ Isn't that a crime in itself? It must not have been serious enough to report, so why is it an issue now?

A lot of young people today have no regard for humanity whatsoever. Violence amongst teenagers has been on the rise for the last 10 to 15 years, but it seems to have gotten worse within the last 6 years. We can only hope and pray for our future generations to come. If you are a Parent, GrandParent, Uncle, Aunt, Neighbor please try to help break this awful chain of violence plaguing our youth and destroying our nation.

Annoying Little Jerk

Today I have to tell everyone about a guy who loves to ride the bologna pony all the time. Everyday I go to work I am faced with the dilemma of having this little jerk ride my jock all day. I treat this guy like a piece of shit, but he doesn't seem to get the picture. What should I do? I try to avoid him but, nothing ever seems to work. I think that I'm going to have to choke slam this fool in order for him to get the picture. I hate having to treat him so bad, but he leaves me no other choice. If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do leave a comment............I desperately need some advice before I end up in Metro.

A Project I want to Pursue

For a while now I have been thinking about writing my autobiography. I feel now I am at a point in my life where I need to start writing before I begin to forget certain details. For anyone who doesn't know I was born and raised in the Keystone State(Pennsylvania). I relocated to the Heart of Dixie(Alabama) five and a half years ago. I feel my autobiography would have the potenial to be a best seller, but if didn't I still would be proud of myself for accomplishing something important to me.

I would like to thank my buddy Scotty Ice for getting me interested in starting this blog. You can look forward to hearing from Scotty Ice, Ender, Grand Poobah and me soon as we pursue a new venture. Keep checking back for more details............ As always thank you for reading Street Beat.

The Uncut Truth

Today I thought work would never end. Forget about June 21st being the longest day of the year; today was the longest day. If I could have seen into the future; I would have taken today as a personal day and just stayed in bed. All day it felt like time was advancing at a slower pace than usual. I felt restless and just plain worthless all day. I attempted to cover it up by being my usual self, but I struggled to do that.

I received an award today that I feel I did not deserve, but that is the norm for where I work. There is only one person that should have received an award for his alertness and attention to detail, but this is an all to common event that plagues our workplace. The good people where I work are never recognized for their extra efforts. I feel if they were recognized more; morale would higher. Instead liars and snitches are awarded for kissing ass and circumventing the system. If we had stronger leadership at the top the this crap would not be happening. I like most of the people I work with, but some of them are just a waste of sperm that would have served us better as a stain on the sheets or a secret ingredient in a protein shake (they know who they are!!). To everyone else, the hard workers and the non complainers, I appreciate your efforts day in and day out. Thank you for allowing me to have fun and be the person I am.

Riots over Cartoons

Pakistan riots turn deadly over the caricatures of the Muslim Prophet Mohammed. There are three confirmed dead, including a young boy, in the riots. A KFC restaurant, several buildings and a Daewoo Bus Terminal, that included 16 buses, were set on fire during the protest. Protesters burned the American and Danish flags; they also displayed signs of President Bush and Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen as dogs. This is the 3rd day of rioting in Pakistan. The Pakistani Government has vowed to take care of the protesting with an iron hand, but until then I urge all Westerners to use extereme caution when traveling to these areas.

National Humiliation

I just finished reading an article about two Federal Air Marshals agreeing to smuggle drugs aboard an airline for money. This puts to shame all the men and women who serve our government and protect the lives of innocent civilians. These men dishonored themselves and most of all our country. They deserve whatever punishment they receive. http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/02/13/marshals.cocaine/index.html
